Cheeky Monkey

A push-your-luck classic by Reiner Knizia. The basic game is suitable for ages 6 and up, but a simpler version is included for ages 4 and up.

On your turn, you can draw animal tokens from the bag. You can draw as many times as you like, but if you draw the same animal twice, your turn ends and you must put everything back in the bag. If you decide to stop, you can stack all the drawn tokens in front of you in any order you like into a single tower. But beware: If your opponent draws a token that matches the token on top of your tower, they can steal it! If they draw a monkey from the bag, they can also swap the monkey with the token on top of your tower.

When the last tile is drawn, the game ends. The player with the most animals of a given species receives the points for that species (the more tiles the species consists of, the more points you score). The player with the most points wins.
