Cover Me

In Cover Me, you're the editor-in-chief of a magazine, and your job is to brainwash the public into believing the models on your covers are the most stylish in the fashion industry. Unfortunately, you can't accomplish this alone; you'll need the help of other magazines, who are only interested in promoting the models in their portfolios. Can you manipulate the other editors into helping you achieve your goal while simultaneously destroying their dreams of becoming the most prestigious fashion magazine?

In more detail, the game is played in seasons. Every three months constitute a full season, and after each season, a seasonal special featuring your top model is published. To select a model, a player must choose from the models in their portfolio. Based on the selection from the various magazines, you influence the audience and determine the fashion trends for that season. By anticipating your opponents' choices and choosing the right model, you can try to get a model on the cover of your seasonal special who is completely on trend. If you succeed, you score points. If you fail, you score no points unless you have three models on the cover who don't have any of the season's fashion features. This would allow you to score all three models simultaneously, but it's certainly not an easy task.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to keep your top models because they'll be looking for new opportunities. As a result, you'll see models leave throughout the game, and selecting their replacements is a key element of the game.

After three years (12 seasons/rounds), the game ends. You count the points your models scored during the game. Not all models have the same score. The later a model entered the game, the more points it will be worth because it's harder to score.

The game features 162 unique, highly detailed models, a catwalk with an audience that also serves as a storage solution, a scoreboard, and markers to create the most realistic gaming experience possible. Who will be the star on your cover?
