Detective Club

Detective Club is a light party game with occasional hilarious moments. It's an excellent test of your creativity, observational skills, spontaneity, improvisational talent... or simply a whole lot of fun!

The game is controlled by large, beautifully illustrated cards. Each player always has six of these cards in their possession.

Each round, a new player acts as the game leader. They choose a code word and write it down in their notebooks. However, one notebook is left empty. The notebooks are shuffled face down and distributed to the other players. Everyone except one player will know what the code word is.

The game leader then begins by playing one card from their hand that matches the code word. They are not allowed to reveal any further information. Clockwise, the other players must also play a card that matches the code word. If you don't know what the code word is, you have to make a quick decision based on the cards you've already played and hope you don't get caught. Once all the cards have been played, repeat this process a second time so that everyone has two cards in front of them.

Now the game leader announces the code word and explains why they played the two cards. Then all the other players can also explain why they played their two cards. If you weren't aware of the code word, you'll have to think quickly and endure the "interrogation" with nerves of steel. Afterward, everyone gets to vote for who they suspect is the intruder...
